We have all been looking forward to welcoming PizzaExpress to the Centre! and we are pleased to announce that they have opened there doors today on Thursday 1st December.
Peter Boizot started the first PizzaExpress in London, 1965. Hiis first taste of pizza was in Northern Italy. From there, he found himself in Germany where he witnessed pizzaiolos dressed in blue and white striped shirts tossing the dough into the air. This was accompanied by opera, classical and jazz music all played off a juke box. On his return to London and finding no good pizzas, Peter took over a pizza place and called it PizzaExpress.
